CHANEL unboxing

CHANEL unboxing
ENG I often crush on shoes and bags. Sometimes just for few seconds, sometimes a bit longer. But there is one special pair of shoes I’ve been crushing on since 2014 – Chanel espadrilles.
The story behind buying those is probably ridiculous to most of the people. I mean, who goes to another country just to buy shoes? But let me explain!

Rome, Paris, Dubai or my hometown Frankfurt – I’ve been visiting the Chanel boutique in every country and city I traveled to in the last 15 months. That’s how much I wanted those shoes to be mine.
I consider myself very lucky but in this case luck was not on my side. I couldn’t find a single pair in my size. Anywhere in the world! How is that even possible?
Can you imagine the smile on my face when I heard there will be a shipment to the Chanel store in Frankfurt? It was almost as big as the smile on my face when I see pizza.
So, I got all excited, called the store to make sure they already have them in stock and made peace with myself for actually spending that amount of money on espadrilles.
Now, can you imagine the look on my face when they told me that the shoes were sold out in 1,5 hours?! Really?! Exactly the same sad and disappointed face when I see pizza but it’s for the table next to me. They had one last patterned pair in size 39, but those were just not my cup of tea. It is not about having a pair of Chanel shoes. It is about having the shoes I had a crush on.
I didn’t give up and called the store in Munich, Düsseldorf and Berlin – no luck. Finally I decided to check Amsterdam and were lucky enough to find one last pair in my size and the color I was looking for. What’s even better is that they reserved it just for me! I’m still secretly in love with the person who did that.
As you can see today I managed to go to Holland and get my hands on the long wanted espadrilles.
Some people say I’m crazy. Crazy because I went to Amsterdam, crazy because I spent so much money on shoes. For me it is a small dream come true. I have way bigger dreams and goals in my life than owning Chanel shoes, but I guess the materialistic dreams are here to fulfill as well.
